Hello guys!

I got a question, I'm using this CPU for heavy duty rendering and some gaming from time to time. I'm wondering isnt it a bit too hot 'cause temperatures under 100% load are reaching 80C. Other example; I'm playing Mass Effect right now and OCCT as well as core temp shows 65 degrees under 75% cpu usage.

Whats your opinion on that? Is it safe? I have stock cooler.

Solution
It is safe!

While your rendering your CPU is used almost 100%. 80ºC is good for that numbers and you have stock cooler.
My I7 4790K also goes to 78-82ºC while rendering with an EVO 212.

So your tems are fine for your cooler.

Update:
If you do a lot of rendering I recomend you to buy another cooler for your cpu... I can sugest the Cooler Master EVO 212 for 30€.
