The Archer 1700ac router in my apartment has been pretty slow so I decided to try the router optimum provided when they installed the internet connection here. Once hooked up I got a message saying the router was connected at the wrong service location. Called optimum and they said the router is on a block list. She wouldn’t tell me why this happens and that I would get a call in 72hrs from the department that handles this.
Does anyone know in what instances routers end up on block lists from ISPs??
