In November my broadband just started being <Mod Edit> for no reason and have been trying since now to get it sorted.

Download speeds seem fine on wired and wireless speed tests but upload speeds are very low like 0.01-0.20kb/s and internet drops about 10-15 times a day and sometime the 2.4 signal cant even be found

We had an engineer out from vodafone and did all the usual tests and said it was fine so we switched providers and sent another guy out yesterday and he did line tests and said our line speed is testing at 100mb download and 10mb upload.

Here's what he said he done:

Line test with meg reader, no errors everything seemed fine
3 new routers
Changed the little phone jack box on the wall
Went to the exchange building 150 meters away and changed the ports
Went to the box outside on the power pole outside where the line comes in from
Turned off all the power in the house except the wall sockets and tried a speed test
Scanned with Wifi analyser to see for potential signal interference
Rang the Isp 3 times and they just keep running me around saying the line is fine and cant see any problems
I live in a rural area with just a couple of neighbours on either side i will post a picture of analyser

Anyone have any ideas what i could try next or what it could be?

I was trying to upload some pictures of speed tests but its not happening tonight so ill just write the speeds

Ps4 pro wireless 2.4ghz 59Mbs Download 66 kbps upload about 70% signal strenght
Samsung S7 45mb download 0.03 upload
Wired Pc 75 mbs download, 0.13kbps upload

Maybe move the router to that location and see if it runs any different. You have eliminated everything except the wire between the point it enters the house and your router. Other wise try a long ethernet or phone cable run across the floor if it is impossible to move the router.

Try to test with wired connections just so you know for sure the wifi is not causing additional issues.
You need to test these things separately. If this only happens on wifi then you troubleshoot the wifi. If the speed issue is also on wired then it is something different.

Unfortunately you have done the most likely things. Radio not putting out a signal is almost always a failed router but you have replaced the router. It happening on mulitple router points to a client issue. I will assume you have tested this on mulitple devices in your house.

How did they test the line speed. Did they connect to your router or something else. Did they unplug the cable form your router and test at that point or did they test at the point the cable enters the house.

I did test on different devices wired and wireless on 2.4 and 5ghz
He had a handheld box he called a meg reader and I think he plugged it into the wall inside where it comes into the house.
