Issue installing Motherboard into New Case

Hi,

I have just bought a new PC case (Thermaltake Versa H13 M-ATX) and it doesn't have enough mounting holes for my mobo (MSI Z97 PC Mate). I have been looking through previous threads and it looks like M-ATX stands for micro ATX whereas mine mobo seems to be a standard ATX. There are 6 screw holes on my mobo and I am missing mounting slots underneath the two base screws. So it looks like this:

O O (I/O end)

O O

O O (missing both of these mounting slots)

Does it matter if these are not screwed in?

I'd be surprised if you can even get it to fit. Yeah you have an ATX motherboard trying to fit in to a case one size too small for it. Return the case or MB and get the right size.

Your case is not compatible with ATX boards. You need to replace the case or the motherboard to avoid problems.

If you've bought an incompatible case you should send it back and buy one thats the right size.
