Question Issue on Windows 11: When reviewing a process's properties in Task Manager, a black window briefly appears in the upper left corner of the screen.

a black window briefly appears in the upper left corner of the screen
Well, i can tell you what it is, but i don't have a solution for it.
But it isn't malware or anything like that, if this is what you're worried about.

Namely, when you select Properties from context menu, the Win11 initially generated the Properties window in the default position, which is the top-left of the screen. But as soon as the window is generated, Win then loads the user defined position of the Properties window and plops it where you had it last opened (near bottom-right). Because there is latency between initial window generation and loading of your custom position of the window, you'll see an outline of the window at the top-left screen for a split second.

In your video, at 0:14 mark, you can actually see that it is the Properties window outline, rather than black window (if you use 0.25 speed in Youtube and pause at the exact moment).

As of fixing it, well, reduce latency inside the Win11. E.g don't run as many processes at once (since you have laptop with limited performance). Or disable the custom Windows theme and use default theme that doesn't consume as much system resources.

Hi, thanks for responding! I guess I'll just have to learn to live with it. It seems strange to me since this didn't happen before. Thanks so much for the help anyway.
