Hey all,

I have this in the GPU forum, though the problem could very well be with another part. I recently put together my first homebuilt system. Everything works great with the exception of one issue. While streaming video (ie Youtube, Hulu, etc), the display will sometimes cut to either black and white vertical stripes or orange and white vertical stripes. The sound will continue for a few seconds, and then stop. The only way to resolve the issue is to do a hard reset. It seems to only occur while streaming video in full screen mode. I've never had the problem while gaming (Skyrim, GW2, etc)

I read in an old thread that someone had a similar issue, and it ended up being an antivirus conflict. I had avast! at first, but I've since switched to AVG and the problem persists. I'm at a loss, as this is the only problem I've run into with the new system.

Here are some relevant specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 Mobo
i5-3570K
8GB DDR3
XFX Radeon HD 7870

Any thoughts?
