Question Issue with detecting HDD but not SSD

I have an older PC and I recently upgraded, I now use the older PC as a media server. It has 4 HDD's and an SSD. The other day the HDD"s just stopped working. I have tried flashing the bios and resetting the CMOS to no avail. All four HDD"s are working fine and work if I put them into a doc, even on the same PC. Any suggestions?

that hdd which is not working, first run it on the dock, then perform "Error Checking" from there,, also run defrag. Then after that run it back without the dock, may be this can help.

Nah mate its four HDD's went out in sync, definately not the drives, anyways after weeks of troubleshooting I just figured out its the PSU, even though the SSD is powered off the same cord the PSU musn't be giving enough power to the HDD's, even tried a different outlet on the same PSU as its modular and it didnt work. In any case its resolved now.
