So I was watching a YouTube video

when I noticed these pink/red square shapes on my monitors display. They kind of look like microchips and I’ve never seen them before.

I’ve only ever seen them with this particular video when the screen is black. I tried other black screens on the display to see if they where still there but I couldn’t see them. Does anyone know what they are and if they are something I should be worried about? Thanks in advance. :)

well first of all, your monitor is bleeding like hell o_O
it should be black (or as close to black as possible)
try calibrate your brightness/contrast/gamma in windows display calibration
I think that’s IPS glow, since it disappears when I move my head around and look at screen from different angles. Although there is a little backlight bleed, it just looks worse in the photos than it does in person. But I was originally asking about those pink/red square shapes that look like microchips. Thanks for the calibration tip though. :)
