Question Issue with dual channel

So about a year ago I delidded a 7700k, which was successful delid. But for some reason I cannot boot with my memory in dual channel. I know it's not the ram that's the issue because it will work in any dim slot, but it will not work in any dual channel config. Any fixes?

I think its because you delidded the cpu that why it wont work in dual mode could of damaged it

You may have damaged the CPU when you delidded it.
I would try to reseat your CPU.

Specs:
7700k @ 5.1
Asus z270 prime
16gb corsair vengence 3000mhz
1080 strix


I had my roommate who is a computer engineer look at it and he thinks it's the memory controller on the mobo that broke. I checked the cpu pins and they are all straight, I have a strong feeling it's the motherboard. I was able to put the ram in a completely different system and it worked perfectly fine, so that takes the ram out of the question.

I fixed it. Bent pin on the motherboard that I somehow missed.
