I’ve installed a new processor and water cooler & they work fine & the pc powers up as normal. But I have no front USBs (2) working, no signal from GPU, and nothing from the power reset button or HDD LED. I checked with the manufacturer of my motherboard and put the front panel wires into the mobo where they should be...

I’m not sure if my HDD, SSD & CD/RW SATA cables went back in the same slots as before, should this matter?

I just spoke to someone from a pc shop
He thinks thst the problem may be because my Mobo doesn’t work with the processor I put in.

I’m using MSI H110M PRO-VH
I was using the i5 6400 and i installed the i7 6700k last night.

Oh brilliant, we’ll that eliminates one major issue then I suppose.

I’ve tried booting without any drives, still no luck. Tried removing a stick of RAM too.

I think the bloke I spoke to also mentioned something about updating the BIOS?
Thanks for the reply

This part: 7996v2A.zip shows the BIOS version compatible with that processor. As far as I can see, i5 6400 requires same version.
