Issue With HD 7770

I Have A Gigabyte HD 7770 And Every Time I Startup My Computer No Game Will Work Until I Restart My Computer Also If I Try To Overclock My Graphics Card Games Become Slow.

Use the same tool you used to OVERclock the hd7700 to UNDERCLOCK it about 20%. If the problems go away RMA the card.

What are your system components?

my graphic card is not overclocked but if i do games become slow like doom 4 will go to 16 fps

i think its a driver issue

Look on YOUTUBE for frame rates from other HD 7700 users playing doom4. Make sure your screen resolution and video quality setting are the same as theirs. See if you are significantly slower.

In the meantime, as a test, go to a much lower video quality setting on doom4 and see if the frame rates pop up. If the frame rates stay low then its CPU not video. If the frame rates jump up its likely video.

i fixed it

i though i had the latest drivers but i did not

i can now overclock it and now it works better
