Issue with LG WH14NS40 Drive

So I just finished my first PC Build and everything has been running fine except for the blu-ray reader/writer. I am able to read and play normal cds/discs/dvds/etc, but when I place a BR disc in the disc drive, it does not play, however, I am able to view the files within the disc using file explorer.

I am using windows 8.1.

Do you have BR player software installed? It was not included in win8
