Hi all
First of all I have
AORUS Gen4 7000 2tb
ROG Strix b550-I Motherboard.
In the middle of a new build
Having an issue with the MB not detecting the nvme SSD. I first booted it and it didnt detect it, so I pushed it a little more in, rebooted it and the BIOS found it. However, after re-booting again, now the MB doesnt detect the m2 anymore (this is after trying to push it in further, taking it out and trying to fit it in again. Now I am at the point where I dont want to try and push it too hard to get it in further otherwise it might break.
The m2 comes with a heatsink so I keep the heatsink with the MB off (otherwise the m2 is too big when trying to reattach the MB heatsink.
Just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same experience and is it more likely the faulty m2 or MB? I am hoping its my error as returning components is a nightmare where I live.
Couple of photos here which might help

This image is with the mb heatsink removed. there is a little rubber stopper there that seems to impede the m2
