So sometimes if I minimize a window, I get this weird glitch that happens when I view the preview from the taskbar. Sometimes it will also show a completely white screen instead of having the checkered pattern at the top right. Once I click on the preview to fully open the window, the issue goes away and I can use the window as normal. Is there any way to fix this?

Solution
shame its only sometimes as it could also be a software glitch and we could run PC in clean boot mode to see if its maybe a startup program to blame. Like a screen ovrelay

see if this helps
right click start button
choose powershell (admin)
type SFC /scannow and press enter
once its completed, copy/paste this command into same window:

Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth
and press enter

SFC fixes system files, second command cleans image files, re run SFC if it failed to fix all files and restart PC

often the fix for graphical problems can be update Graphics card drivers.
I tried updating/rolling back drivers but didn't do anything. I've also tried about everything I can think of, unplugging and replugging everything in my PC, reinstalling windows, updating BIOS, updating drivers.

okay, what are specs of pc?

Is it a oem pc or custom?
If OEM, what make/model?
If custom, what motherboard etc?

if it survives a reinstall it is unlikely to be software.

what version of windows?
  1. right click start
  2. choose run...
  3. type winver and press enter
  4. current version is 21H1
