Issue with Partition Wizard and Windows 10

I was attempting to partition my SSD so I could dual boot alongside win 10. Windows wouldn't let me shrink the volume greater than 20GB even though over 100GB was free so I tried partition wizard to create a 2nd 40GB partition.

Due to the C drive being in use it required a reboot to shrink the volume, the tools 1st pass went successfully yet it seems to be lingering on 2 of 4 operations. So should this be going faster and the application has hung or does it just take longer than expected ?

Looks like the software actually froze on completion, after a while I took the chance and just turned it off, worked like a charm !

Would not recommend that as a solution to anyone else having that issue unless prepared for the worst in case anyone comes by this.

Glad it worked out....
For future reference, it's safer to make a bootable CD/USB Partition Wizard disk and boot directly to that instead of running the program from Windows.

I've been using Easeus Partition Master since 2010. I've used it more times than I can count and never had any problems with it. They have a free version for non-commercial use.

Good luck.
