Issue with R9 295x2

Hi guys,
I recently upgraded my monitor from a 4K one to a 4K one with G-Sync.

I am upgrading my GPU right now so when I sold my Nvidia Card I went back to using my 295x2 and it worked fine on my old monitor; but on the new one as soon as the drivers are installed and it tries to output 4K it goes to a black screen.

I have already tried DDU.

This has completely confused me, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just tested my GPU in another monitor and it is fine... Tried plugging my laptop into the 4K monitor and that is also fine.#
Is it possible that the GPU just isn't playing well with the monitor?

could you set up this new monitor to not using g-sync and test gpu with .

As far as I can see there is no option in the monitor settings to enable or disable G-Sync. However, my laptop with only Intel integrated graphics works just fine on the G-Sync panel. It just seems to be my 295x2 that doesn't like it.

Yeah I know that G-Sync will only work with a compatible Nvidia card, but the actual monitor itself should work with anything. It is working right now wth INtel graphics, just the Radeon card is having difficulties when drivers are installed.

see in the monitor manual if you could disable the g-sync option .
