Brand new GS308v3. I have RCN as my ISP, an Aris DG2470 modem which plugs directly into a TP Link AC3200, everything works fine up until this point. The second I plug the GS308v3 into the back of the router my WiFi breaks and I cannot get any connectivity out of any of the open router ports nor from the open ports on the switch (despite green lit ports). I can, however, see the router's SSIDs and can connect to them but with no internet. Any ideas on how to fix? Setting on router maybe? Please help.

How are these all connected and configured?
  • What ports are used? Router to modem, Router to switch
  • DHCP settings of each
  • Any custom settings like the modem in bridge mode.
  • Any wiring oddities. Like two or more cables going from the switch to router or cable from the switch to the router and modem.

  • Aris DG2470, top port to WAN port on TP Link AC3200 router
  • Tried all ports 1-4 on TP Link AC3200 to...well I have tried every one of the 8 Netgear GS308v3 ports as well
  • DHCP setting is on on both router and modem
  • How do I access DHCP settings on switch, didn't think you could on an unmanaged switch?
  • Aris DG2470 modem is in bridge mode
  • I have cable from modem to router, then router to switch, nothing else
I can get into my modem settings, not sure if below info is helpful
  • DHCP is enabled on the modem
  • Dynamic IP address
  • uPnP is enabled
  • Modem running in bridged mode
  • Firewall enabled?
  • Block pings enabled
  • IPSec Pass Through enabled
  • PPTP Pass Through enabled
  • L2TP Pass Through enabled
