Issue with User Accounts on Windows 10 - Accounts somehow got switched

Good evening,

I recently completed my PC Build and proceeded to create a new Hotmail account to match since my previous account did not sound at all professional (gamer name...).

All was going well with this account on my new PC until earlier today when I went on the Xbox app on Windows 10 and signed in using my Xbox Live account - which is linked to my old Hotmail account (still active, I just do not use it).

When I did this, my entire PC somehow switched from being signed in to my new email to my old one. My files and programs are all in the same place but I can't seem to revert back to the new account I created.

Even in 'User Accounts' in Control Panel displays only my old account and not the new one.

I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter, thank you.

Have a read through this guide and see if it helps with your issue. You could create an offline account for use on your OS while you maintain your old "gamer handle" account on your xbox.
