Issues after resolved water damage

Hey, everyone!

Sorry to bother you all, but I had a question that I couldn't find an answer to while researching on the forum history.

I'm, in short terms, an idiot. I moved, and got lazy, placing my PC on the ground next to my desktop. Woops, a can of Coke Zero landed on it. Liquid dripped in, then it just turned right off. No smell or sound. I immediately unplugged, grounded, opened it up, and dabbed up any wet spots with a microfiber.

Then, to be safe, I took it to a ma and pa shop that I love, so I don't have to just rebuild my entire gaming rig. They fully cleaned it with corrosion cleaner (probably alcohol), dried it for 5 days (per my request), and gave it back. Works fine, no issues at all.

My concern is any lasting damage. I've tested every port, fan, SATA port, slot, everything. Hardware Monitor shows everything the same, nothing seems to be off.

I don't think the GPU even got a drop on it.

My main question: how likely is it that this will, since it was handled promptly and thoroughly, limit the lifespan of my MOBO/PSU/GPU? If all components and inputs work OK, am I okay, or should I be unsurprised if my Z270 starts to die on me within a year or something?

I'm mostly just looking for the peace of mind that comes with "If everything works 100% now and there's no corrosion, you're good as new" (or as close as possible), but I wanted to know as I'm an anxious person. It's my fault anyway, so feel free to tell me how stupid I am.

Thanks a lot. I'm rarely a contributor (and this is a fresh account), but Tom's Hardware has been a lifeline for me, and I really respect all of you. Thank you so much for all your help, and I will have NO issue at all if the answer is "Hey, time to just wait and see, no one knows."

Thanks again, and have a great night everyone!
