Question Issues after upgrading from 8gb ram to 16gb

Hi everyone, i bought new ram and as soon as ive put it in my computer started stutter and its a lot slower than before.. ive upgraded bios and tried everything i could think of but nothing helped can anyone please help me? Iam so desperate Thank you

Iam currently running the Memtest86 as soon as its done ill find exactly what i have thank you

Just finished the test without any errors ( it took 3.5hrs )
CPU - intel core i5 3470 @3.20 ghz ivy bridge 22nm tech
RAM- 16gb Dual channel ddr3 corsair 1600mhz ( but speccy program showing 665mhz)
Motherboard - ASUSTek- computer inc. P8B75-M LX (LGA1155)
GRAPHICS- 2047MB Nvidia GeForce GTX660
