Issues in the display of black color

I am having an awkward situation with my laptop.
It is all good but since today it started displaying 'splitted-black'. Meaning when the system starts it usually have a black screen, so whenever I have a black screen the black seems to appear half darker back in left side and half grayed in right side. It is very awkward and I don't have a solution for that.

The link shows the exact thing that appears. It happens in youtube, anywhere there is black color. Other colors are just fine and normal. So whats wrong?

OS - Win 8.1
Acer Travelmate Laptop

All I see is a black square, looks fine to me.

Changing the contrast helped. Thanx. But it was a weird problem.
