Issues on Reformatt

I had to reformat again do to some kind of malware. When i finished it wouldn't allow me to sign into my microsoft account. I was thinking maybe my SSD had issues so i installed it on a drive i knew was 100% good and it still said there was something wrong that i had to make a local account. I have reinstalled windows 8.1 before many times and never had this issue ? I have a copy of windows 10 pro and had no issues with that at all. I prefer using 8.1. I would just like to find a solution for the sake of learning.

If your MS account password isn't accepted, have you followed the procedures to reset?

I'm not aware of any reason a clean OS install would suddenly not recognize a correct password.

It's quite possible that the malware might've got to your installation media to induce a corruption on your installer/installation. You could try this link though I'm not sure how effective it would be for you, seeing how most support is geared towards Windows 10.

Im still having a problem here. I tryed running a sfc /scannow and everything looked good. I read a little bit and i suspect its a network issues as we just switched ISP providers. I was able to install windows 10 no problems with being able to use my microsoft account or being able to connect to even get to put it in
