Hey everyone!

So at the begin of this year i got a new mobo , cpu , gpu and ram and i started gaming again, a few months later i got my second monitor they are both philips 60 hz.

GPU: 1060 3GB
CPU: i7 7700
RAM: 8 GB
MOBO: MSI B250 PC MATE
2x Philips monitor 60 hz

My issue:
-Every game i play (fortnite , minecraft , overwatch etc) if i try to play it borderlesswindowed , or windowed my game feels basically slow, i dont have FPS issues, its just like this:
Fullscreen: No delay when i walk or aim.
Windowed / Borderfullscreen: Around 0.5-1s delay with EVERYTHING i do.

Also i dont know if this issue has to do with my PC or the game:
When i go under 120 FPS (capped), my game will feel microstuttery, basically hard to play (even my FPS goes to 119)

This is REALLY annoying since i can't use my second monitor for music, discord etc.
And the Fortnite issue is REALLY annoying aswell.

I hope someone can help me out.

Have a good day!

Hey Matt,

My 1st monitor (i always had which i DONT game on but put my discord , browser etc, is a VGA)
My 2nd monitor (i play ALL my games on, is connected with HDMI)

Both of these are connected in my GPU, if you are wondering what exact GPU i have its the ''1060 3GB OC Windforce from Gigabyte''

I hope you know enough, if not ask me.

First, you will take a performance hit when running a game in windowed mode with multiple monitors.

Second, it sounds like you're getting input lag, probably from forced vSync/Triple-buffering in windowed mode.

Third, you may be running into refresh rate sync issues between your monitors. Disconnect your VGA monitor and run in windowed mode to test.

If your monitors are 60hz monitors then you should cap your FPS at 60 in the video card drivers. There's no reason not to and it will help with stuttering.
For the lag make sure vsync and triple buffering are off/disabled in drivers and game settings/INIs.

Hi thanks for ur reply,

In what program do i disable these?
I always have VSync off in games, but i dont know how to cap and disable vysnc in my video card drivers.

Could you tell me where?

Greetings,
