Issues opening Bios on Compaq elite 8300 SFF

Thanks in advanced for all of your help
I currently am trying to open bios to look at a few setting hat i feel need to be changed but every time i try to open bios (restarting and spamming F12) I always get an error stating no boot name file received.
Then i proceeded to clear cmos by holding the button (after disconnecting power) for 30 second when i am able to press F12 to open Bios it will open for a split second the power cuts out and it restarts again only this time when i open BIOS it will show

(DHCP . . . . \) then proceed to error no boot name file recieved
I even tried flashing system ROM but to no luck showing an error file is damaged or missing

Turn on the computer and repeatedly press F10 until the BIOS setup utility opens.

i have done this before (sorry for not mentioning) and i dont see nearly as many customization options as my bios does
(I have used my bios before long ago and trying to fix it now)
