Currently, my RAM is G.SKILL RipjawsV Black 16GB [2x8GB 3000MHz DDR4 CL15 rev2 DIMM], or at least that's what the store calls it. I plan to expand it from 2x8 to 4x8. To do that, my selection is from the following two:
  • G.Skill Ripjaws V, DDR4, 16 GB,3000MHz, CL15 (F4-3000C15D-16GVGB)
  • G.Skill Ripjaws V, DDR4, 16 GB,3000MHz, CL15 (F4-3000C15D-16GVKB)
As you can see, the only difference is VGB vs VKB. No clue which kit would play the best with what I currently own.

Yes, you buy a proper 4x8 kit or 2x16 kit... for double the price, while a perfectly fine set is right there. Sorry, I don't have the money.

My reasoning is that I'm using Unreal Engine 4, Blender, Visual Studio, Docker, the whole shebang, and I sometimes notice RAM usage gets higher than I'd like it to be, to the point of occasional stutter.
