Issues resetting laptop

So quick question, I have been trying to factory reset a laptop for my friend but he forgot his password. He disabled recovery, too, so now I have no idea how to wipe it. I tried going into safe mode, but the Admin account was disabled. Any advice? I don't have any disks for HP or Vista

Thats not how you do a factory resore.
You access that during startup, it should be in one of the options displayed at the bottom of the screen when Press Del for Setup is displayed.

Thank you. I had no idea that HP had a built in factory restore. I'm still new to all of this, so I appreciate the help
