I have a g41mt-s2p mobo, core 2 duo processor and segate 500gb hdd with win 10 installed on it. While cold booting up my pc, it shows disk boot failure error and when i press reset button, it boots up normally. What is the problem behind this. Also sometimes while booting up monitor loses signal (light changes (yellow from blue). What should i do.

CHeck your hard drive and sfc /scannow

multiple power possible power related failures. Check CPU and mobo. Try disconnecting anything you can (second drive etc.) If PSU is failing then should work normally without additional burnen for a while. Also possible that capacitors on MOBO are failing, should give errors like that

Yes, I know what sfc /scannow is for, but I also said to check the hard drive chkdsk /f to see if anything is bad, and yes I know what its for. But if there is anything bad there he will know about it and then solve it easier with google.

While monitor is on sometimes monitor shows auto image adjust and this happen several times. What is the cause of this problem. My mobo is more than 7 years old but i got it fixed 4 months ago and gpu was also bought 4 month ago

That can go be many things, but it might be bad cable. So start with that.

on your first issues..on old hard drive the lube for the spindle goes bad from age. when this happens the heads/spindle when cold can get stuck. that why there a error till you reboot and the drive breaks free and starts spinning. the only fix is to replace the drive or leave the pc on. the drive will be fine by at some point there will be a hard failure of the drive. the second issue make sure your mb has a new cmos battery if it 7 years old. wiht old mb it can be a bad cap issue or power.

this issue got fixed when i rearranged my ram and it now boots faster but now everytime i cold boot automatic repair gets started and i have to shut down and then restart. What should i do?
