Issues with ASUS PCE-N53 Wireless Adapter Windows 10

I just got a whole new system put together, and after upgrading to Windows 10 when connecting to the 5Ghz band the total download speed I am getting is less than 50kb/s whereas I used to get 6MB/s. I have ensured that the correct and most recent drivers are installed. Anyone have any solutions? There absolutely no connectivity issues beforehand and the signal strength of the router is perfectly fine.

That did not help. Some additional info, after doing what you said I tried downloading something through steam. It began downloading at 1.9MB/s and decreased slowly over 30 seconds until it was nonexistent.
