I don't know if this has been addressed, but I found nothing on Google about this (a solution, I mean). So just today, I upgraded my PC to Windows 10. I checked everything out and it felt fine. So there I am, catching up on some episodes I've been meaning to watch, when all of a sudden my audio stops playing, and my show freezes. I tried refreshing the page, and my show wouldn't play. So I check every other source for videos/audio (YouTube, Twitch, my games) and the video/audio was seemingly broken. I was using Chrome as my browser, so I then decided to use Firefox to check if the problem persisted, which of course did. So I Googled the problem, trying to find a solution, when Win 10 brought up a suggested link. It told me to troubleshoot the issue, and it ended up getting an error which seems to be a bit common on Win 10 PC's (I forget which error it was). After that I got frustrated and decided to disconnect my audio jack and reconnect it. After that, I tried to play a video, and it worked, for a while. Now i'm getting this audio bug where it stops playing, and when I disconnect the audio jack, the video stops playing. It happens almost every 10 minutes and it's getting annoying.tl;drAudio bug makes videos stop playing when audio jack is disconnected, which seems to be the only way to fix it every 10 minutes. Has anyone ever encountered this issue, and if so, how did you PERMANENTLY fix it?

Solution
Sounds like you have driver issues. Follow the instructions in the sticky to clean install your graphics drivers first, and then if it still continues update the audio codec drivers after that.
