Question Issues with cpu

So if I do not plug in pci e connector into my graphics card my pc will come on but if I plug it in .. the pc will cut off. The code on motherboard says cpu but no pins are bent or anything . Should I try changing motherboard?would love the help oh and btw bought a new liquid cooler already

psu seems to be enough for your sets, have you check your power connector cable is in right place?

I mean the pcie connector looks like cpu connector, dont mistake the cpu connector for pcie connector.

Positive that they are in right place. I had a guy looking at it but he has to go out of town n even wondered same thing. Said next thing to try would b motherboard or gpu

You say the pc shuts off if you plug in the gpu? Are you plugging in with the pc actually on?

So if you shut off the pc, install the gpu, swap monitor to gpu, you get the cpu error.

Did you reset the cmos after installing the gpu?

Reads like you're plugging in the pcie plug while the pc is on.

No I turn power fully off . Not doing it while pc is on

Your psu should have an 8 pin eps12v aux cpu connector that needs to be plugged in to the motherboard.
