Issues with dlink 110 wireless adaptor

Hello,
The Dlink DWA 110 adapter is detecting the home wireless network but the desktop PC is unable to connect to the network even though the WEP key is correct.Why is this so ?

Check the router's settings to ensure that wireless mode is set to 802.11g or mixed mode. Check that Access List (or whatever the equivalent utility to filter users by MAC ID is called) is disabled.

I would not recommend using WEP if possible -- WPA PSK TKIP is more common these days and is easier to set up and more secure.
