Issues with EDID

Hello,

One month ago, I've replaced my Sapphire HD7950 with a nVidia Quadro, for testing purposes. Since then, my PC won't recognize my monitor(,,Generic non PnP Monitor,,). I;ve replaced the Quadro with the 7950 but the problem persists. I've also replaced my old horizon monitor with a DELL 1908FPT (1280x1024). Same issue. I've googled it any found out that it is an EDID error or something like that.

So, Swapping the monitor didn't work...is there an issues with my GPU?

Problem solved! 😀 I've changed the VGA cable and the DVI to VGA adapter. My monitor shows up in the device manager and I've got no more issues.
