Issues with freezing

I've had some issues with my new PC from the getgo, here's a list,

Programs would randomly delete themselves

GPU would drop frames in some games

Internet cuts out and freezes my computer

I sometimes have to restart my computer due to it freezing

Specs:

16g ddr4 hyperx 2600

Asus z170 gaming pro mbo

800w g2 evga psu

gigabyte 980ti

i7k skylake

That sounds like a virus. Please install the free version of malwarebytes at malwarebytes.org. Run the threat scan and make sure it deletes anything that doesn't look familiar to you.

I run scans fairly reguarly with trend micro, does it make a difference which one I use? I havea 3tb HDD and SSD

I personally don't really trust trend micro or any free antiviruses. Use malwarebytes, it's the best of the best.

Ah sorry, I was confusing it with the free version on the windows and android stores.

Still though, malwarebytes finds everything. There are still lots of antiviruses like AVG and norton that don't pick everything up.
