Issues with gaming since a few days

So i reinstalled windows after a few issues with certain games but since a few days i cant even stream and barely play games. my cpu usage and memory is higher then it used to be. ive tried everything but nothing seems to help. What can be causing this? (cpu temps ar enormal, same for gpu temp)

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K

MOBO: Asus Maximus VIII Ranger

CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Nepton 240M

RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4-2666 Memory

GPU: Asus ROG Strix 1060 6G OC
SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300
120GB

Samsung 850 EVO 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1.5TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

PSU: EVGA SuperNova 850 G2

Case: NZXT S340 (Black/Red)

Did you remember to change your graphics settings in the games to what they were previously? Also, I'm assuming you're using OBS. Did you make sure that those settings are back to what they were? My OBS just updated a few days ago, and it swapped my settings back to default, and I had to plug them all back in again.

with a new build and clean os. start with the mb bios make sure it up to date. then make sure intel newest chipset drivers are installed and newest msi drivers from the mb vendor. make sure the monitors are plugged into the video card and not onboard video port.

I changed it back to what it was and i had a backup of my previous obs settings. gaming works fine now but its just obs that keeps dropping frames and my cpu usage is way higher then it used to be for some reason

The only part that had been changed is the addition of the 1tb ssd. i even removed the ssd and it gave the same issues.
