issues with image tint

Lately I've been upgrading my monitor from a 21.5 inch acer to a 27 inch monitor. First I bought the

but refunded it due to a greenish tint and low quality contrast. I then went and purchased a
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005419
But now I have the same issue with this model. The colors are faded and tinted in the same manner as the previous model, so now I'm certian the issue lies with my computer in some respect. What could be causing the unfavourable imaging?

Any and all help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the cable; a broken wire, or a broken pin on the connector.
Try another cable.

I've had the same issue with various cables.

Multiple monitors, multiple cables.. Still the same video card. Can you try removing the video card and using the motherboard's on-board video? That would rule in or rule out the video card.

Motherboards on-board video has same problem. Is the problem perhaps that I'm trying to use an LCD and LED monitor at once?
