Issues with internet connection intermittently dropping

For many months now, maybe even longer, I've had many issues with my internet dropping randomly. I find that it is usually while I'm gaming, but happens frequently outside of video games. Even as I write this post, it has dropped multiple times. The strange thing about it is, my connection is quite fast, at least for my standards, and whenever I'm downloading a game it takes very little time or when I'm in a match my ping is very low, but it will just die very suddenly. My ping will go from 70 to 4000, my entire computer loses connection, not even chrome works. I've done almost every kind of test I can think of, including resetting my PC to factory settings in case of a malicious program, running on both ethernet and wireless to see if perhaps it was my card, even swapping out my modem with another that was the same model. Nothing seems to work. When I lose connection on my PC, I checked to see if my laptops or phone lost connection as well, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Thinking that perhaps it was my PC itself, I tried looking more into it. However, on multiple occasions I've taken my PC to a friend's house for some gaming sessions, and had absolutely 0 problems, a perfect connection. Then I thought to myself, "Maybe it's your house's connection or Comcast's service?" So I called Comcast, scheduled an appointment, and I will admit that for about a week after that visit things were running smoothly, but soon after it reverted back to the same issue.

I'm at my wit's end here, and I just want more than anything else in the world for this to stop. Any kind of help would be appreciated, I'll answer any questions I can.

hmm...this is confusing...then it seems like the bandwidth allocation for the devices could be the issue...talk to comcast customer support and verify the bandwidth allocated to each of the devices...make bandwidth priority to the pc to negate that factor...

Gave it a day to see if the problem persisted. The disconnections have seemed to lessen in frequency, but they still keep coming.

well if ur pc runs fine at ur friends place and the comcast troubleshooting worked for a week, then it is less likely to be ur pc problem...
after the comcast troubleshooting, did any other device face any issue while ur pc was working fine???
also can u test ur pc for an extended period at ur frnds place to rule out ur hardware???

As far as I could tell there were no issues on other devices after the tech visit. Everything was working smoothly for about a week. As for testing at my friend's place, I might be able to do that, however the last time I did it was over the course of a weekend to I feel like that's a pretty big chunk of time to not be having any problems.
