Issues with Machine Check Exemption error on a Toshiba Satellite C55 using Windows 10

Recently, my roughly year old laptop (Toshiba Satellite C55), which runs Windows 10, has been freezing (normally after the internet displays an error, even though I know it is working), forcing me to do a hard restart with the button. Sometimes it shows a message that the error was a "Machine Check Exemption".

Any solutions? I've looked this up in 10 different ways, and have gotten a similar number of answers. My computer is at normal temperature, and nothing has otherwise changed recently. The batteries are fine as well.

crash dump file: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\041316-28343-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: igdkmd64.sys (igdkmd64+0x10C1EE)
Bugcheck code: 0x9C (0x0, 0xFFFFF802E4B4DBA0, 0x0, 0x0)
Error: MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
file path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\igdkmd64.sys
product: Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows(R)
company: Intel Corporation
description: Intel Graphics Kernel Mode Driver
Bug check description: This bug check indicates that a fatal machine check exception has occurred.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: igdkmd64.sys (Intel Graphics Kernel Mode Driver, Intel Corporation).

It's a series of these causes of the error. Now, I looked for driver update, as it suggests, but I'm told that I am up to date.
