Issues with mouse cursor

I upgraded from an MSI R9 380 4GB to and RX 480 8GB and I have started to get a problem I didn't get before I upgraded.
Sometimes my mouse cursor will change to a vertical dotted black line.
I was wondering what could be causing the issue.
ie. Fault graphics card, drivers etc..
My mouse is a Razer Deathadder Chroma

Use ddu to rule out a driver issue. If that doesn't help it sounds like a bad gpu. It may have no difference in performance but will artifact like that, get worse overtime and start crashing.

I have this SAME issue and the Only time my Mouse Cursor goes weird is when i am using Google Chrome, Its fine after games and everything, but randomly into Chrome use it will turn into that odd Dotted Lines. or a solid black cube when hovering over text box like the one i am currently typing in.

Only temp fix i have found is turning on Mouse Trails, but that can make issues with games.
or restarting the PC.

Edit. i should mention it is also only on my main monitor the 2nd one has a normal cursor.
