Question Issues with msata

Hey I got an issue, I'm trying to install my OS onto a msata drive by for some reason it's saying there's no partition available. I tried creating a partition in the command prompt and switching it over to GBR nothing. I tried booting in AHCI mode, still nothing. What gives?

OS installers will typically have some sort of partition management step before actually installing it so you don't need to do anything beforehand. However if you premade the partition anyway to cover the whole drive and are trying to install Windows, it may not like that because Windows would really like to have the bootloader and possibly the recovery environment on separate partitions for reliability reasons.

Wipe the drive and use the OS installer's partition manager.

I'm trying to install it on Samsung PM851 with a 3720xm i7 cpu. There isn't a partition manager in the OS installer.
