issues with my pc

So my current comp I just notice something odd.
I went to turn off my PC but it didn't turn off. It seemed it went into hibration mode. When I move the mouse the screen turns on asking to start or turn off my PC. When I clicked to turn off my PC it asked am I sure I want to turn off my PC cause others are logged on.
What does that mean? Do I have a virus or something?
No one else uses that PC other than me.

It started a few days ago. I think. But lately it has been doing this.
It seems this started when my mouse logitech mx1000 was acting up. I can't open files by double clicking anymore. I have to put my cursor on the file and hit "enter" as you probably know.
Same goes when i want to shut down my pc.

But since then, this issue started to happen. Not sure why. I scan for virues using mcafee enterprise. I scan for malware using "malwarebytes" free edition. My buddy just down loaded a program called "threatfire". It seems that's when it started. Just realized it. Not sure if it's because i installed threatfire or something else.
Also when i copy text, it will copy it twice when i paste it.

Does it do this every time?
