I've recently bought an AOC G2260VWQ6 monitor and I'm experiencing a strange issue. Sometimes, the screen begins to show a difference in brightness or contrast (not really sure which one it is) along its height. This picture I took of a black background will explain it better:
Normally, it would look this way:
First time I realised this issue was after resetting the monitor to factory settings, and after trying several times, and forcing it to happen again, I thought it would be some kind of firmware issue that just triggered when doing the factory reset. However, it's also happening now when opening Battlefield 1. When image switches from desktop to the game, it begins to work this way again, with the down half brighter. I can avoid it configuring the game as a borderless window, but in exclusive fullscreen it always happens.
Also, if I turn off the monitor and then switch it on, the image goes normal again. But if I do a factory reset or open Battlefield 1, it just happens again.
Any idea what could be causing this issue? I don't know if I should ask for a new unit or a refund to buy another monitor, as it could be an issue with the model and not just my unit.
