Issues with new ASUS ROG STRIX RX 480

Hello all,

I just purchased my RX 480 installed it, and what I'd imagine to be all the drivers (some GPU tweak II, Radeon settings) When playing games I have kept the same settings as I've had with my GTX 770 FTW, and the card struggles, it keeps lagging, massive frame drop, and in the monitoring it says it's using full GPU clock... full voltage, and usage pops between 100% and 0% so periodically. The VRAM always stays at 0% and rarely jumps to 1% is that normal? http://i.imgur.com/vlk1Xak.png

Am I doing something wrong? or what? As I know this card should be able to outperform the 770 easily

I have a i7-2600k, and a cooler master v700 watt power supply

Did you wipe all the Nvidia drivers out with ddu prior to installing the 480? If not do so now

I have wiped all the drivers, but what is DDU?

Did you wipe the Nvidia ones before you installed the 480? If not wipe both the Nvidia and AMD drivers off. And then restart and reinstall the AMD ones

I am currently reinstalling the AMD drivers after using that program to wipe all drivers

Hmmm that is really odd. No idea what is up with that. Try using MSI afterburner instead of rog

I use Speccy as well as it claims to have the same numbers

Could there be something wrong with the card you think?

A bad connection from any single pin on it could cause it to behave oddly. It's not unheard of.

Okay so I've reseated the card, used MSI afterburner to look at specs... all of which are the same

I can't even get stable fps in minecraft.....

The VRAM is at zero percent usage!?! Why is that happening
