Hello there, thanks in advance for your help.

So I've just swapped the motherboard and CPU of my previous build for new ones and I'm having a particular issue.

The performances appears to be much lower, even though my new CPU is more powerful than my previous one.
Something I've noticed through task manager while playing, is the GPU seems to not be used at's it full potential, it usually only uses between 40% and 50% of it.

My old build:
Motherboard: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
CPU: Intel Core i7 950
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1060 6Gb
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws X Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3-1600

My new Build:
MotherBoard: ASUS B75M-PLUS
CPU: Intel Core i7 3770
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1060 6Gb
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws X Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR3-1600

Note that I am running on high performance mode, and my system is not overclocked.

Thank you!

Well it depends on the game it self, some of the games will be CPU intensive, and your CPU is not that great either but its a much better upgrade than your old one.
And some games depends on GPU more than CPU.
So your CPU might be a bottleneck in some games such as CSGO etc..

I understand that. However, I'm comparing the performance of the same games on my old and my new computer, so if my CPU is indeed much better, I'm not sure why it would provide less performances.

Also, I forgot to add it, but I ran the HWMonitor while letting a game run for a while. Maybe it can provide some useful informations.

No idea really, the temperatures seems pretty good for gaming.
But the CPU is being used 100% while GPU is at 62% max.\
That is why it is weird your CPU is being a bottleneck here for some reason.

Can't really help much further than that, someone else could help in this i don't really know anything else about it.
