Question Issues with PC

My PC turns itself off some minutes after booting, the fans get to full speed, some seconds after that, it shows a black screen and it just stays like that until I shut it down. It has even been closing and opening itself many times, it didn't stop until I pressed the power button. Some times the bios weren't even available, could it be a motherboard issue?
