Question Issues with Pci-E sound card

so for a while now I have been having the issue where my sound card (Strix soar 7.1) doesn't get registered/detected by the pc
sometimes a restart will work, sometimes just waiting
I'm just wondering if there are any things i can try before i suck it up and buy a new one (I need either soundcard or DAC because of 250ohm headphones)

If not a hardware, then a driver issue. I would suggest reseating the card firmly and performing a clean install of it's drivers for a start. Maybe inspect the pcie slot and try another as well and see if it fixes anything.

as much as I wish this would help I have already tried all of the above
its been in 3 different slots now and I've gone through a complete reinstall of windows due to a seprate promblem I was having
