Issues with SLi gtx260...

I'm getting lower frame rates when i turn my SLi on.
Specs 3.0GHz Intel E6850
850W PSU
Asus Striker 2 Formula
4 GB ram
4x150GB raptor x in raid 01 Thanks in Advance

What's the CPU usage with SLi and without?

okay tested with sli running 89% usage of both cores without 74%

I also don't see ANY if actually a decrease in performance and frame rates...

CPU usage looks like something is going on, which is good. What resolution are you gaming at?

Do you use something like Rivatuners Hardware monitor to get an idea of how the framerate performance is affected, or not as the case may be?

no just watching my g15 lcd for the performance on the core

I don't know how comprehensive that is, but I use Rivatuner as I find it quite useful for getting an idea of what some of the hardware is doing (or not) and when it's doing it (or not).

okay well I'm still unsure if we've answered my question... What would cause my computer in SLi to have slower FPS then with a single card running...

Are the framerates smoothing out when SLi is enabled?

im not 100 percent sure on this but i remember something about the higher end cards requiring a ridiculous amount of processor power to run sli right. Perhaps its something along those ends?
