This is not a normal computer but some parts from computers.
This is for testing.

The following parts are from three desktops of the same model and make.
  1. A motherboard G45T AM2 V:1.0
  2. A CPU Intel core2 quad
  3. A stick of RAM DDR2 2G
  4. A PSU LiteOn 6301-08A 300W
  5. A monitor Chimei CT522A
These five parts are assembled on top of a bench.
Power on, it starts with a clear beep and the monitor is on with instructions for setting BIOS.

But it shuts itself down about 40 to 50 seconds the start. Tried many times. It shut itself down everytime.

What seems to be the issue, please?

Thank you

What are the temps of the CPU near the shutdown? Can you run HWINFO and monitor the temps right before the crash?

Thank you.

"What are the temps of the CPU near the shutdown?"
The setup is of the five parts only, nothing else literally. There is no OS to show any temperature or to instal any apps.

The test is to find out if the MB and/or PSU are good for running a very simple Linus distro.

If it boots well for a good 40 seconds then shuts off I do think its a temperature issue with an overheating CPU. does your motherboard have the ability to read the CPU temps? if not you might need to get a lightweight bootable linux usb and have a temperature monitoring program on there. I have linked an article to get a CPU temperature monitoring system set up on linux
Check CPU Temp on Linux {3 Methods} | phoenixNAP KB

But that motherboard and PSU should support a small and simple linux Distro.
