It won't be long~~~

It's all CPU my friend, all CPU (you got 300+ more CPU points alone). Your CPU is running almost a full gigahertz more than mine.

BTW, better work hard. The Socket 939 computers will be out soo. I'll have one of those, and then benching MY card with THAT rig may only make the distance all that much greater.

But it could be interesting.

just wait until socket 775 come out...... then we'll see. However, Grape, wont 939 boards only have PCI-EX? getting a 939 board with AGP is kinda stupid cause its not future proof 😛 and please dont get another VIA (eeewww) nForce 3 please!!!

The Via K8s currently outpace the nForce boards by a large margin. I will reconsider once the nForce 250 makes more of an appearance, and of course once the 939 versions are in reviewers hands.

Currently I know that VIA and ATI both have 939 solutions described that will have BOTH PCI-EX and AGP, and it will be interesting to see what combos you can enable. An R423 plus the R9600Pro would offer some good power for surround gaming should SurroundView be fully supported in the future.

In the end I'm going to check the reviews and see which one offers the best features. I'd like it to be another Gigabyte board, but we'll see what's out there when the time comes.
