It won't recognize my RAM

Alright guys, I'm not a computer genius and I hope that I don't talk cr*p and apologies for my English

I have a crucial 4gb ddr3 1600MHz UDIMM 1.5v cl11 and recently I bought a Kingston 8GB, DDR3, 1600MHz, DIMM, CL11, 1.5V. So basically I should have 12gb ram. When I mounted them in my motherboard (B85M-DGS which has only 2 slots and it supports up to 32gb), it didn't recognize one stick. I thought that I bought the wrong RAM but it turned out that it doesn't recognize either of my RAM sticks if I mount them in the 2nd slot. Both of the RAM sticks work separately in the 1st slot which is the closest to my CPU. At the moment I have 8gb but it's frustrating that I can't add the other 4 gb to it.
In my BIOS I saw that it shows "DDR3_B1 - none", same with the CPU-Z, it doesn't recognize my Slot #2

-I tried to resetting my BIOS
-Re-mounting RAM
-I took out the CMOS battery
-Tried to clean it and I didn't see any damage whatsoever, maybe because I'm mad and tired, probably I'm gonna check it again tomorrow.
-Tried updating my BIOS but for some reasons I couldn't...

It could be the UDIMM and DIMM conflicting? I read that they are basically the same thing. But I mounted my original pre-built 4gb ram in the second slot and it didn't work. It was just black screen, nothing happened.
Maybe my motherboard is damaged?

I was searching for answers and solutions for hours..still nothing...

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Using either RAM in 1st slot, boot into the BIOS to set up the XMP in the memory section. And update the intel chipset driver too. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/20775

After that, If you can, you are lucky. If you can't boot with old RAM in the 2nd slot, that means that RAM slot has problem, because the chipset driver will come with the memory controller driver. So the problem is the hardware problem.

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I don't have the XMP option in my UEFI BIOS. I tried updating the intel chipset driver and still nothing.
I guess it's a hardware problem.
