ITE chip compatibility

So i was wondering if anyone here knows if i can use different chip for my laptop's motherboard, my chip reads as:
iTE
IT8987E
1414-BXA
SC130A
while another chip i found in online store is:
iTE
IT8987E
1344-BXS
ZC0UHA
so can i replace the current one with this one? Whats the difference between this two??

Firstly, they're the same chip. Just different batch numbers and date codes.

Secondly, it's soldered down.

Thirdly, it appears to be an embedded microcontroller with onboard storage - it will have been programmed when your laptop was manufactured. Putting a blank one in is unlikely to work.

Fourthly, why would you even want to do this?

Mine burnt down, so does this mean i cant just buy one but have to get the same chip from another exact laptop as mine?

If it's burnt, it's likely that it was either caused by something else failing, or that it took out something else when it failed.

You will need someone with extremely good soldering skills to replace it.
